From Alice in Wonderland:

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”

'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,’ said the Cat. “I don't much care where,“ said Alice.

'Then it doesn't matter which way you go,’ said the Cat.

There are four important characteristics of change based on OD principles:

1. A planned effort

2. Organisation-wide

3. Managed from the top

4.Focused on increasing organisation effectiveness and health

OD is a complex strategy that is intended to change the beliefs, attitudes, values, and structure of organisations so that these organisations can better adapt to new technologies, markets, and challenges. it is a particular kind of change process designed to bring about a particular kind of end result. OD involves organisational reflection, system improvement, planning, and self-analysis. This systems learning approach guides the change and freezes the change patterns.

Strategy Planning

‘Strategy’ is a more often than not misunderstood concept which needs to be translated into everyday language: Simple is best. Strategy is not purely about ‘achieving and keeping a sustainable competitive advantage’,

Strategy is not for academics, but requires real business creativity and thinking to get real value out of the process. It is also again lacking in vision. Most Strategy development is merely a straight-line thinking from the past into the future. Synergy has its own unique model of Strategy delivery, tried and tested for over 20 years.

Stakeholder Engagement

Stakeholder analysis is the process of assessing a system and potential changes to it as they relate to relevant and interested parties.

There are four steps in the process of stakeholder analysis

Identifying the stakeholders

Clarifying the interest and Influence of stakeholders

Agreeing on the process of engagement between stakeholders

Managing the relationship with stakeholders.
